Introduction

The immune system keeps you alive each and everyday. It is very complicated and many cells take part in it. For example there are the T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes. These cells are one of the most impratant as they activate other cells and also create weapons to kill pathogens. Then there are the Phagocytes which are cells that are first to arrive to the site of an infection. These include macrphages, neutrophils, dedritic cells, and mast cells. Each of these have specific roles. Another system within the immune system is the complement system which are small protiens that are very effective at killing bacteria and viruses. There are billions and billions of theme moving in your blood stream. The last thing this site will cover are the organs in the immune system .There are three main organs and they are the thymus, lymphnodes, and spleen. All these organs house different cells and the lymphnode vessels are highways for the cells.
